About the artist
Pina is a Victorian based artist whose work explores the themes of nature and our relationship to it through an ever evolving palette of colour. Her work spans both naturalistic and abstracted forms, often playing on notions of representative space between the two. Her current work investigates botanical and natural history in the modern world.
Artists that inspire and motivate her work are Michaelangelo Caravaggio, Paul Cezanne, Jackson Pollock and Georgia O'Keefe.
