Cyclamen perisicum - Final

Linking back to my last post titled 'Cyclamen perisicum - Conception' dated April 24 2016. I had never painted this specimen before and loved observing in depth the structure and gorgeous water colour washes and hints of gauche required to capture this beauty in all its glory which I hope I have. Varieties of cyclamen are vast and all so stunning. This particular specimen is still flowering in it's pot enjoying our Victorian winter near a cozy window with it's orchid friend who I have painted previously and is again budding as Spring slowly approaches. The completed cyclamen painting is below and currently at the framers. Hope you all enjoy!
